This month's checklist
Six checks, roughly the same order as the score itself. Nothing here needs a new account or a saved login. Everything runs off the free checkup tool.
- 1Re-run your scoreSame numbers, five minutes. Use last month's saved link as a starting point if you kept one, then update anything that changed.
- 2Check your emergency cushionDid your months-of-spending buffer grow or shrink? A dip usually means a real expense hit. Worth naming which one.
- 3Check your debt signalCredit card balance up or down since last month? This is the fastest-moving signal for most people. Worth watching closest.
- 4Check your savings rateIf you shared income, see whether the share you're keeping moved. A one-time bonus or an unusual month can swing this. Note it rather than over-reacting.
- 5Check your investing ratioDid new cash sit in savings or actually get invested? This signal moves slowly by design. A flat month isn't a bad sign on its own.
- 6Note anything you want to compare laterSave this month's share link (from the results screen) so next month's checkup has a real before/after, not just a fresh score.
Why monthly, not weekly
Most of these six signals genuinely don't move week to week. A monthly cadence is frequent enough to catch a real trend and infrequent enough that you're not reacting to noise. If you got paid unevenly or had a one-off expense this month, that's worth noting next to your result rather than treating this month's score as the new normal.
